Content creators focus on producing photography, videos, written stories or other content that brings travel experiences to life. Brand ambassadors share their experiences and introduce Where Next? to their community. Some collaborations may involve both!

We’d love to hear from influencers, photographers, videographers, travel bloggers, social media creators and enthusiastic travellers who enjoy sharing their adventures. A love of travel, an authentic voice and an interest in Australia and New Zealand are a great starting point.

Follower count isn’t the only thing that matters. We’re interested in your creativity, the quality of your content and the connection you have with your audience. If you create great content but don’t have a large following, tell us what you could bring to a collaboration.

Not necessarily. You can create engaging content with a smartphone, a good eye and a compelling story. Equipment and quality requirements will depend on the project and will be discussed beforehand.

Our focus is on Australia and New Zealand, so relevant travel experience or upcoming plans are particularly useful. Include your current location, travel dates and itinerary when applying so we can consider opportunities that fit.

Absolutely! Getting in touch before you travel gives us time to explore ideas together. Tell us where you’re going, when you’ll be there and the type of content you’d love to create.

We’re interested in authentic content that helps people imagine their own adventure. This could include destination photography, short videos, travel tips, itinerary inspiration, working holiday stories or first-hand accounts of tours and activities.

This depends on the project. Any payment, experiences, discounts or other benefits will be discussed and agreed before work begins. Applying doesn’t guarantee a paid partnership or complimentary travel.

Selected brand ambassadors may receive a personalised discount code for their community. We’ll confirm the discount, eligible bookings, validity period and any exclusions before you share it.

A follower discount code doesn’t automatically include commission. If a commission or referral reward forms part of your collaboration, we’ll agree the qualifying bookings, payment arrangements and other conditions with you in advance.

Every collaboration is different. Before starting, we’ll agree a clear brief covering the content required, formats, deadlines, posting expectations and any relevant brand guidelines.

Yes - we’d love to hear it! Whether you have a video series in mind, an upcoming adventure or a fresh way to help backpackers, include your ideas in your application.

Depending on the collaboration, we may agree to feature your content on our website, social channels or other marketing materials. Usage rights, credit, editing permissions and any use in paid advertising will be agreed before we use your work.

Yes. We expect creators and ambassadors to be transparent about commercial relationships, including payments, gifted experiences and affiliate rewards. Any promotional content must follow the advertising disclosure rules that apply to you and the platform you use.

Any exclusivity requirements will be discussed before you accept a collaboration. Let us know about existing partnerships that could overlap with the proposed project so we can agree expectations clearly.

We want content that respects local communities, cultures, wildlife and the environment. That means following local rules, seeking permission where needed, respecting people’s privacy and avoiding activities that cause harm or encourage others to behave irresponsibly.

Complete the application form on this page. Include your social media or portfolio links, current location, travel plans and a short introduction explaining why you’d like to collaborate with Where Next?.

If you have one, please share it! Examples of your work help us understand your style. For audience-based collaborations, useful details include audience locations, engagement and examples of previous partnerships.

We’ll review your application and consider whether it fits our current plans. If there’s a suitable opportunity, we’ll get in touch to discuss it. Submitting an application doesn’t guarantee a collaboration.
